Half Mistakes(0.5):-

  1. Spacing errors (extra space or missing space)
  2. Wrong capitalization (A instead of a)
  3. Punctuation errors
  4. Transposition of words (word order changed)Note: 2 Half Mistakes are considered equal to 1 Full Mistake.

Full Mistakes (1 mistake)

  1. Wrong word typed
  2. Omission of a word (word skipped)
  3. Addition of extra word not present in passage
  4. Spelling mistake
  5. Repetition of a word
  6. Incomplete word (half typed word)

Speed Calculation

1 Word = 5 Strokes (including space)
