April 1, 2026The Staff Selection Commission has released the Tentative Exam calendar on 17 March 2026 for the year 2026-27. For certain positions candidates are required to qualify DEST ( Data Entry Speed Test ). It is qualifying in nature.

Rules for Typing Test (DEST )
It is a qualifying mandatory test just to assess candidates typing and accuracy.
Interface: The paragraph is displayed on the upper half of the computer screen, and candidates have to type the text in the lower half of the screen.
Duration : 15 minutes
Language : English or Hindi
Requirement : 2000 key depressions in 15 minutes

Backspace : Fully Enabled

Full Mistake(1.0 error )
